Three paintings by beloved artist Bob Ross have sold for over R11 million, with all proceeds going to support public television.
Home in the Valley sold for R5 million, Cliffside for R2.5 million, and Winter’s Peace for R7 million. The auction was organised by Bob Ross Inc. to benefit Create Channel, a lifestyle channel delivering educational and cultural programming to viewers across the country.
Another three paintings from the collection will be auctioned in January, continuing efforts to fund public broadcasting.
The sale shows how Bob Ross’ art continues to inspire people while helping to support a positive cause.
