A leopard has been spotted on the West Coast of South Africa, marking its return to the region for the first time in nearly two centuries.
The sighting was captured on a remote camera trap and is part of long-term monitoring by the Landmark Leopard and Predator Project, SANParks, the University of the Western Cape, Saldanha Bay Municipality, and private landowners.
