In an effort to provide water safety to all, water safety instructor Eoudia coordinated a special Survival Swimming Day for 90 students at N’duli Primaryin kzn, after the school was left out of the NSRI’s programme this season.
Although transport was a challenge, parents ensured their children could attend, many of whom had never been in a pool before.
Despite initial fears, with patience and encouragement from instructors, the children gradually gained confidence and were floating by the end of the lesson.
