The Fourways Education Support Forum, announced the successful completion of its 12 month program, securing 120 permanent job placements.
The initiative has equipped 468 individuals in underserved communities, with essential skills in the green energy sector.
The programme is dedicated to empowering individuals through skills training, while facilitating the transition into rewarding careers that contribute to Africa’s green economy.

Project manager, Khutso Bapela, says the initiative was launched to prepare communities for future work opportunities that are inclusive and sustainable.

Police in the Garden Route region of the Western Cape have partnered with learners in Thembalethu in George, to create a crime and recycling awareness campaign at various schools.

Now in its second year, the Designing a greener future Campaign is an educational collaboration that aims to inform and educate the youth on the importance of cleaner and safer communities.

The event was a collaboration of activities to re-establish platforms where learners joined hands with the police and strategic stakeholders.

One of those platforms was a recent fashion show, where learners used their creativity in recycling.

Air France launches seasonal flights between Cape Town and Paris

Air France has announced the return of its seasonal direct flights between Cape Town and Paris for the 2025/26 summer season, offering travellers a seamless way to experience the best of both destinations.

Operating from 15 December 2025 to 12 January 2026, the airline will run daily nonstop flights between the Mother City and the French capital, perfectly timed for South Africa’s summer holidays and Europe’s festive peak travel season.

The expanded service not only makes it easier for European travellers to explore Cape Town’s beaches, winelands, and rich culture, but also gives South Africans greater connectivity to Europe, the Americas, and beyond via Paris.
