The Rotary Club and Rotary Anns Club of Benoni Aurora have raised funds for community projects through a charity bowls challenge at the Northmead Bowling Club.
The event brought together 24 teams for a day of friendly competition, with money raised through team entries and raffle ticket sales going towards local community development initiatives.
Organisers hope the annual event will continue encouraging residents to support charitable causes while bringing the community together.

Sasol campaign improves oral health for 8 000 children

Sasol and the Starfish Greathearts Foundation have reached more than 8 000 children at 11 primary schools in Zamdela, near Sasolburg in the Free State, through their School Oral Health Campaign.
The initiative provided oral hygiene packs, practical demonstrations and lessons to help children develop healthy dental habits and improve their overall wellbeing.
The campaign will next expand to Secunda, Ekandustria and uMkomati, reaching thousands more children and families.
