Sasol campaign improves oral health for 8 000 children

Sasol and the Starfish Greathearts Foundation have reached more than 8 000 children at 11 primary schools in Zamdela, near Sasolburg in the Free State, through their School Oral Health Campaign.
The initiative provided oral hygiene packs, practical demonstrations and lessons to help children develop healthy dental habits and improve their overall wellbeing.
The campaign will next expand to Secunda, Ekandustria and uMkomati, reaching thousands more children and families.

American historian Rishi Sharma has spent the past 10 years travelling across the United States to record the stories of more than 3 000 World War Two veterans.
What began as a personal project after leaving school has grown into one of the largest collections of first hand accounts, ensuring the experiences and lessons of those who served are preserved for future generations.
Sharma says he hopes the stories will continue to inspire people for years to come.
