Springbok Women’s Sevens 12-player squad named

Springbok Women’s Sevens coach Cecil Afrika has named the 12-player squad for the HSBC SVNS 3 tournament at Dubai’s Sevens Stadium.
The team, led by captain Nadine Roos, will face Mexico, Czechia, and Thailand in Pool-A.
The squad continues with the same players who won the Rugby Africa Women’s Sevens in Kenya.
Ahead of the tournament, players have focused on training, refining skills, and executing game strategies.

UJ social workers and Diepkloof community partners are providing learners with guidance and support through counselling and structured group programmes.
The initiative, lauched by Kaboentle Women Power and Development Projects, also assists students with applying to TVET colleges, rewriting matric exams, and accessing skills training opportunities.
Kaboentle founder Monica Moagi, who leads the effort, says the programme focuses on continuous guidance, helping learners manage both academic challenges and personal difficulties while connecting them to mental health resources.
