Let’s Play initiative invest over R40mil in school sport

MultiChoice says its Let’s Play initiative has invested more than R40 million in school sport across South Africa, reaching over 117,000 children in 2025.
As part of the programme, the company has handed over a new multipurpose sports court to St Mary’s Secondary School in Mahikeng.
The facility allows learners to play seven-a-side soccer, netball, modified hockey and volleyball on safe, on-site grounds.
The handover follows a physical education training programme that equipped educators to deliver structured and inclusive sport lessons.
