Food is a highlight, with chefs preparing samosas, jalebi, biryani, and the popular street snack, pani puri.

Young Artists’ Project Showcases Fresh Talent at KZNSA Gallery

The Young Artists’ Project exhibition will be staged at the KZNSA Gallery in Glenwood, Durban from 22 August to 21 September, showcasing the work of emerging talent in KwaZulu-Natal.
Founded in 2002 by then-curator Storm Janse van Rensburg and revived in 2020 with support from Rand Mutual Assurance, the initiative offers young artists mentorship, professional guidance, and a platform for their first solo exhibitions.
This year’s edition features N’lamwai Luntha Chithambo and Zama Mwandla, whose work will be unveiled at the official opening on Friday, 22 August.
Free public walkabouts with the artists take place on Saturday, 23 August, from 10am to noon, with school and university groups also invited to engage with the creatives.
