Gauteng Education MEC, Matome Chiloane has confirmed that the province is fully prepared for the 2025 National Senior Certificate exams.
The exams, start on Tuesday, 21 October and end 27 November.
Speaking to the SABC on the sidelines of the department's learner placement and exams readiness media briefing, yesterday, Chiloane said Gauteng has received clearance from State Security and Umalusi to proceed with the examinations:

The National Treasury has launched the MzansiXchange Pilot.
The initiative aims to create a secure, and citizen-centred data exchange platform to enhance evidence-based policymaking and real-time data verification between government departments.
