As global leaders prepare to convene for the G20 Summit in Johannesburg later this month, business leaders have been challenged to not only participate in the global conversations, but to help define them.
This came up at last week's 2025 South African Future Summit at the Sandton Convention Centre which brought together entrepreneurs, small‑business owners, investors, and industry leaders to discuss how entrepreneurship can drive economic transformation
The summit coincided with the SA Future Trust Summit and the upcoming G20 World Leaders’ Summit in the country.

Humanitarian organisation, Gift of the Givers has delivered clean drinking water to Aurora residents in the Bergrivier Municipality, Western Cape, this comes after the community was left without water for over five days.
The organisation acted swiftly, calling the situation a humanitarian crisis requiring urgent aid.
The 5-litre water bottles were welcomed, especially by elderly residents.
Gift of the Givers continues its nationwide humanitarian efforts, providing basic needs, disaster relief, and community support, while encouraging the public to contribute to their mission.

The City of Cape Town has signed a formal Memorandum of Agreement joining 17 others working with the Institute for Global Homelessness, to reduce the number of people sleeping on the streets.
The Institute of Global Homelessness launched the first Vanguard Cities cohort in 2017.
Mayoral committee member for Community Service and Health, Francine Higham, says the aim is to support and uplift local expertise and innovation in addressing homelessness, while fostering the benefits of both community and global exchange:
