The site handover, marked the start of a 10-year initiative,, aimed at delivering integrated housing and economic upliftment in the South of Johannesburg.
The MMC for Human Settlements, Mlungisi Mabaso,
emphasised the project’s long-term impact and its potential to tackle Joburg’s housing crisis, while reviving the city’s economy.
