NASA set to launch Crew-12 to ISS
Teaser / Tailpiece story
NASA is preparing to launch four astronauts to the International Space Station on Friday aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The crew includes Americans Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, French astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. They will replace Crew-11, which returned to Earth early after a medical issue, leaving the station temporarily staffed by only three astronauts.
If the launch goes as planned, Crew-12 is expected to arrive on the ISS Saturday afternoon, restoring a full team to the orbiting laboratory that has been continuously inhabited for 25 years.
