Emperors Palace has officially kicked off the festive season with the return of its much-loved annual Christmas Village.
The showcase marked the official launch of the resort’s festive programme and featured a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Emperors Palace complex executive, Clive Tavener.
The Christmas Village delivered an immersive, experience, complete with themed zones, festive installations and family-friendly attractions set to delight thousands of visitors throughout the month of December.

WBHO appointed for Cape Winelands Airport expansion

The Cape Winelands Airport has announced the appointment of the construction company WBHO as the main contractor for its eight-billion-rand expansion programme, marking a major step in creating South Africa’s next-generation aviation hub.
The project will include a new boutique terminal, upgraded runways, enhanced cargo and logistics operations and a modernised general aviation precinct.
The airport’s Deon Cloete says the development could sustain over 100-thousand jobs in its initial 20 years of operation and boost tourism and investment in the Western Cape.
