EU Introduces New AI Transparency Rules

The European Union has introduced new rules requiring companies to clearly tell people when they are interacting with artificial intelligence.
AI generated or manipulated content, including text, audio and images, must also be labelled, with companies facing fines of up to €15 million for failing to comply.
The rules form part of the EU’s AI Act and are designed to help people make more informed decisions as artificial intelligence becomes a bigger part of everyday life.
