MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko says the agreements are meant to strengthen cooperation so that more people in need can be reached and supported.
The department says it will monitor the work of the organisations to make sure the support translates into real help for families in areas including Johannesburg and other parts of Gauteng.
