The Gauteng government says it has secured R205.6 billion in investment pledges, exceeding its R200 billion target at the provincial Investment Conference.

Footprints 4 Sam has delivered 120 “Super Sam Hero Buckets” to state hospitals across South Africa to support families with seriously ill children.
The buckets contain essential items such as toiletries, food and comfort goods for caregivers during long hospital stays.
Hospitals including Rahima Moosa in Johannesburg, Charlotte Maxeke and General Justice Gizenga in KwaZulu-Natal have received the support.
The initiative relies on volunteers and partners and aims to ease the daily challenges faced by families caring for hospitalised children.
