Johannesburg recycler gifts retirement village handmade Eiffel Tower
Story 1
A Johannesburg recycler has brought joy to residents at Arbor Village retirement community in Bedfordview after gifting them a handmade wire model of the Eiffel Tower as a gesture of appreciation.
Isaac Moseme, who has collected and recycled waste from the village every Monday for the past four years, created the artwork using skills he first learned as a child on a Free State farm.
Residents say the gift reflects the strong bond built over time through his weekly visits and friendly interactions.
Moseme is now working on an even larger project, a model of the Titanic, which he hopes to complete later this year.
