Marketing and Communications Manager, Barba Gaoganediwe, says many hospitality facilities are already fully booked ahead of the high-profile gathering.
He says the event could generate around R3.6 billion for the province’s visitor economy — a significant figure driven largely by corporate travel and business spending linked to the summit.

The city also expects to attract around 255,000 cruise visitors between November 2025 and June 2026.
On Friday KZN Tourism and Film participated at the Interprovincial Cruise Tourism Workshop at the Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal which brought together government, industry, and private-sector leaders to align KwaZulu-Natal’s cruise ambitions with national strategies.
The gathering stressed that the province’s success depends on collaboration, investment, and turning passenger arrivals into real local benefit.

The Western Cape government says its recent Investment Summit in Cape Town is expected to create around 45 thousand new jobs.
Premier Alan Winde says the province has also signed a new international partnership with the Paris Region, focusing on technology, tourism, and the creative industries.
Winde says the summit attracted more than 520 delegates and showcased over 200 investment-ready projects in sectors such as the green economy, agribusiness, manufacturing, and green hydrogen.
He says there were over 1,600 meetings held between investors and project owners — and 81 percent of participants rated those engagements as good to excellent.
