Gauteng motorists warned of road disruptions on 15 Nov. 2025

Gauteng motorists are advised to brace for temporary road closures in parts of Johannesburg this weekend, as law enforcement units prepare for the G20 Summit.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation, Gauteng Traffic Police, Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department and the South African Police Service will conduct a coordinated operation on Saturday, between 9-am and 1-pm.
RTMC says the exercise forms part of heightened security and traffic management measures in preparation for the high-profile international gathering, which will see an increased movement of motorcades and official delegations across the province.
Major national routes that will be affected include the N1, M1 and the N12.
