Sandile Mkhize, CEO of the Umgeni–Tugela Water Board, highlighted the conference’s mission, stating that the gathering is an opportunity to review current methods, sharing knowledge, and establishing clear timelines to improve South Africa’s water infrastructure and services:

On Friday KZN Tourism and Film participated at the Interprovincial Cruise Tourism Workshop at the Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal which brought together government, industry, and private-sector leaders to align KwaZulu-Natal’s cruise ambitions with national strategies.
The gathering stressed that the province’s success depends on collaboration, investment, and turning passenger arrivals into real local benefit.
