SANParks and GWF partner to boost youth education near national parks

South African National Parks and the Good Work Foundation have signed an agreement to expand digital learning campuses near national parks, creating education and job opportunities for young people in rural and township communities.
The programme will start in the Greater Kruger National Park and later extend to other parks, offering students practical skills in conservation, technology, and digital learning.
Through career academies, internships, and work placements at SANParks, local youth will gain access to employment while supporting the protection of South Africa’s wildlife and natural heritage.
The partnership strengthens community involvement in conservation and provides sustainable pathways for education and careers in the environment sector.
