Story 1
Rotanganedza Community Care is gearing up to host the West Rand District Aids Day at the Dan Tloome Mega Project on November 28.
The organisation provides HIV and tuberculosis testing and counselling, support groups, community outreach, and assistance for victims of gender-based violence, poverty, and children in need across the West Rand and Limpopo.
Founder Caroline Tiba, who survived HIV and multidrug-resistant TB, established the organisation to challenge stigma and promote awareness around these health issues.
Rotanganedza funds its work through agricultural projects, selling produce to support patient care and sustain its operations, despite recent setbacks in funding.

Kruger National Park rangers honoured for acts of bravery
Story 2
Four rangers at the Kruger National Park have been recognised for their courage after saving themselves and others from dangerous wildlife and poachers.
Among them is Albert Mkansi, who survived attacks by both a leopard and a hippo last year while on duty.
Despite sustaining severe injuries and losing his foot, he continues to serve in an adapted role.
The park says the bravery award, known as the Kruger Cross, is its highest honour and celebrates those who risk their lives to protect others and the wildlife.
