West Rand bikers ride to support children in need
Story 1
Nearly 1 000 bikers took part in the West Rand Bikers Association’s annual Santa Run on November 9, the largest turnout since the event began.
The ride delivered festive cheer and essential donations to underprivileged children, with biker clubs selecting charities to support. Soft toys and other items were sorted by age and distributed to schools and community organisations, including Laerskool Rapportryer.
Event organiser JP du Toit said all riders completed the route safely. Participants said the run was a rewarding way to combine riding with giving back to the community.
The annual Santa Run continues to grow, uniting bikers across the region while bringing joy to children during the festive season.
