Young author and humanitarian Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg has donated copies of her educational book Only a World Away to children at the New Jerusalem Children’s Home in Johannesburg.
The book was created to encourage young readers to believe in their dreams, build curiosity and see themselves reflected in positive stories that support learning and imagination.
The visit included reading sessions with the children, who engaged closely with the story and its characters, while also receiving signed copies of the book.

Students at Hout Bay International School in Cape Town are raising funds for Ikamva Labantu through a school-based charity drive supporting township communities.
As part of their CAS project, learners placed coin collection boxes around the school under the message “Give a penny, help many,” inspired by a French fundraising model. The initiative supports education, youth programmes and care for elderly residents.
Ikamva Labantu works in township communities providing early childhood development, after-school support and services for older persons, with funds to be handed over later this year.
