Winter Warmers project brings support to Parkview community
Story 1
St Columba’s Presbyterian Church in Parkview has launched the first phase of its Winter Warmers project, providing warm meals and blankets to people in need as colder weather sets in.
Visitors received soup, bread and fruit along with blankets as part of the outreach initiative aimed at bringing comfort during winter.
The church says the blanket drive forms part of a wider community effort, with donations helping fund the distribution of hundreds of blankets through local outreach programmes.
Organisers say the project is focused on offering practical support and care to vulnerable residents during the colder months.
