Sandton-based organisation Kindness Like Confetti has donated 127 dignity bags to the National Children & Violence Trust.
The bags, containing toiletries, and personal care items, will be distributed through the Trust’s Victim Support Units to women fleeing domestic violence or GBV.
This initiative provides immediate support and ensures women receive necessary items when returning home is unsafe.
Donors made the donation possible, helping KLC provide practical assistance and restore dignity to survivors.

Cape Town supports shelters for vulnerable residents this winter

The City of Cape Town is supporting organisations that provide shelter to vulnerable residents during the winter months.
Applications are now open for registered non-profit organisations to apply for assistance through the City’s Winter Readiness Programme.
Qualifying shelters have until 31 March to apply for support to expand bed capacity as demand increases during winter.
The programme will run from 4 May to 30 October and will provide supplies and staff support to participating shelters.
Applications are available via on the City of Cape Town's website.
