Over R600,000 Raised in Honour of David Sejobe
Story 3
More than R600,000 has been raised in just days for the family of David Sejobe, a MultiChoice security guard remembered for his warm greetings and daily kindness, who passed away nearly two weeks ago.
What started as a R20,000 crowdfunding goal quickly grew through thousands of small donations, showing the impact he had on the community. Many shared how he brightened their mornings, with some urging others to “give people their flowers while they are still alive.”
The funds will go to his mother and children to help cover funeral costs and support their future, as organisers thank contributors and encourage others to keep sharing the campaign.
