Afrika Tikkun has hosted its second Beauty in Ability pageant, giving 20 young people with disabilities a platform to showcase their talents.
The event was held in Johannesburg on 31 July, with finalists selected from four Afrika Tikkun centres.
Yanga Gongwana won the Mr Ability title, while Nonhlanhla Nxasana was crowned Miss Ability.
The pageant promotes disability inclusion by giving young people opportunities to build confidence and celebrate their abilities.

The Real View Foundation is helping learners in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, gain practical skills alongside their formal education.
The organisation runs a school skills development programme for children who struggle with conventional classroom teaching.
The training equips learners with practical skills to prepare them for employment and entrepreneurship.
It also gives them opportunities to develop skills that can support their future independence.

South African ultra-runner Thembinkosi Sojola is climbing George Peak 26 times to raise funds for vulnerable children and families.
The challenge supports George Child and Family Welfare, which provides care and support to children and families.
Sojola’s challenge is equivalent to climbing three times the height of Mount Everest.
More than R26,500 has already been raised through his crowdfunding campaign.
