A group of South African friends passionate about problem-solving and innovation have been invited to share their project with global leaders.
The group of six postgraduate engineering students from Stellenbosch University have created a conceptual lunar satellite mission.
This is a small satellite that will join a network of satellites on the moon's far side to conduct deep space observations without Earth's interference.
The team will represent South Africa at the MIC9 Mission Idea Contest taking place in Tokyo in November.
