Open Call For National Arts Festival's Curated Programme

The National Arts Festival is calling for applications for its Curated Programme, scheduled to take place in Makhanda from June 25 to July 5, 2026.
Artists from diverse disciplines can submit their work, which will be evaluated based on artistic merit, innovation and relevance.
Categories include completed works, works in development, and new ideas.
Applications close on 3 October 2025, with shortlisted artists to be announced on 14 November 2025.

The Tshwane Tourism Association says preparations for the Tshwane Tourism Awards, set to be held on Saturday, are progressing well.
The awards honour outstanding tourism products including hotels, attractions, conference and events venues.
This year’s theme is Welcome to the Wildest Capital City in the World.
The association’s chairperson, Susan Marais says the awards focus on recognising excellence across four key pillars.
