The hampers were given to underprivileged pupils preparing for exams, helping ensure they have food to take home and do not attend school hungry.

Government is moving to improve boat launching facilities for fishermen in Port Nolloth and Hondeklipbaai after years of damage and poor infrastructure.
R12 million has been set aside to finalise studies, while work is also being planned to repair existing infrastructure.
The upgrades are expected to make the facilities safer and support fishing, tourism and other coastal businesses.

Eldorado Park Church Gives Back At Children’s Home

First AME Church in Eldorado Park spent a day supporting children at Little Rose Home, a shelter for disadvantaged and homeless children.
Church members painted with the children and donated toiletries, cleaning supplies and clothes to the home.
The children also had a chance to express their creativity through the painting activities, while church members gave the home’s facilitators a break for the day.
The home says the painting supplies will help provide more activities for the children.
