Alexandra Clean-Up Partnership Targets Long-Term Change
Story 1
The Tondani Lushaka Forum and Guardian Angel Wildlife and Marine Trust have joined forces to tackle Alexandra’s long-standing litter problem.
The partnership will focus on involving young people and residents in regular clean-up activities and community awareness programmes.
The groups plan to start in one area, keep it clean and then expand to other parts of the township.
They say educating residents about cleanliness will be important to prevent litter from returning after each clean-up.
