Members of the Dainfern Community Workshop built the lockable bookcases as part of their woodworking and DIY training.
The libraries were delivered with Bags of Love and will be stocked with 300 books donated by Dainfern residents.

Eversdal School Raises Funds for 50 Charities

Eversdal Primary School in Cape Town has raised R358,510 for 50 charities as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
The school set a target of R250,000 through its annual DAMUS fundraiser and exceeded it, with the money divided equally among the 50 beneficiary organisations.
The 48th DAMUS took place on 27 August, following a 25-day campaign that introduced two beneficiary organisations each day to the school community.
The charities support children, families and vulnerable communities across South Africa.
