Annual Cancer awareness walk raises hope

More than 200 people participated in the South African National Parks’ annual Cancer Awareness Walk in the Garden Route National Park in the month of September.

The walk honoured survivors and supported those who are currently affected by cancer and raised awareness on the importance of prevention, early detection and treatment.

SANParks’ spokesperson, JP Louw, says the 6-kilometre path symbolised resilience and collective strength.
