Steyn City Foundation held its annual Delivering Happiness to Diepsloot initiative, supporting the neighbouring community for the 14th year.
More than 14 000 children from seven Diepsloot primary schools received locally made school backpacks filled with snacks, stationery, and essentials.
Backpacks included lunchboxes, water bottles, and supplies tailored for younger and older learners.
The initiative included a school visit at Reshomile Primary School, where trees were planted and learners received meals and gifts, while the foundation continues year-round support through its Growzone project supplying fresh vegetables to local early childhood centres.

Several key roads in Johannesburg will be closed on Saturday as authorities prepare for the G20 Leaders’ Summit.
Traffic law enforcement agencies will implement lane restrictions and road closures between 9 am and 1 pm, affecting areas from Nasrec to Sandton, Fourways, and Roodepoort.
Highways including the N1, M1 and N12, as well as major streets like Jan Smuts Avenue, Rivonia Road, and Grayston Drive will be impacted.
