The equipment will help medical staff track vital signs more accurately and improve the movement of supplies within the ward.

Tyla set for World Cup 2026 opening ceremony performances

South African artist Tyla has been confirmed among global performers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening celebrations, which will take place across Mexico, the United States and Canada.
She will perform at the Mexico City ceremony on 11 June ahead of the opening match, and again in Los Angeles on 12 June.
The line up also includes international stars such as Katy Perry, Lisa, Future and Anitta, with additional performances expected to be announced.
FIFA says the multi country ceremonies are designed to celebrate football, music and cultural diversity on a global stage.

Jozi aMuse Festival returns with four days of culture and history

The Jozi aMuse Festival of Museums returns to Johannesburg from 20 to 23 May, offering visitors a four day cultural experience across some of the city’s best known heritage sites.
The programme includes a Routes of Resistance tour in Soweto, gallery visits and evening events celebrating local history, art and culture.
The festival will also feature tours and site visits to Constitution Hill, Wits Art Museum and Museum Africa. City of Johannesburg Director for Arts, Culture and Heritage Vuyisile Mshudulu says the event aims to connect people with the city’s rich cultural and historical spaces.
