The Paper and Allied Manufacturers of South Africa has launched its 2027/2028 masters in engineering bursary programme to support the next generation of chemical engineers.
The initiative aims to strengthen skills development and promote innovation in the circular bioeconomy within the pulp and paper sector.
The organisation’s Jane Molony says the programme offers a two-year bursary worth 320-thousand-rand for final-year or recent chemical engineering graduates to study at selected South African universities:

A record 48 teams and millions of fans are set to descend on the United States, Canada and Mexico for the first ever World Cup co-hosted by three nations.
World football governing body FIFA has announced an increase in cash payments to participating countries, raising total distributions from about 12-billion to 14.4-billion-rand.
Each of the 48 teams will now receive about 41.4-million-rand for preparation costs, while qualifying bonuses have been increased to around 165-million-rand per team.
