Water outages in parts of Sandton and Randburg will continue due to ongoing pipeline maintenance. The current phase of repairs began on Friday, 9 May and is expected to last until 6pm on Tuesday, 13 May. Today marks the second day of the scheduled outage. This work follows maintenance that started on 30 April. Residents in affected areas should expect low water pressure or no supply during this period.

Limpopo Premier, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, has extended heartfelt congratulations to filmmaker Murena Netshitangani for making history by winning the Best African Film award at the 78th Annual Cannes Film Festival in France. The Filmmaker's acclaimed Tshivenda film, Lubunyu, has captivated the international jury and brought global recognition to the roots of Venda. The premier also acknowledged the ongoing support of the Department of Arts and Culture and the Limpopo Arts and Culture Council for their efforts in nurturing talent across the province.

Kendrick Lamar tops the 2025 BET Awards nominations with 10 nods, including Album of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Male Hip Hop Artist.
