'From You to Me', by Llewellyn Mnguni, blends contemporary, ballet and African dance to show how women shape and inspire their communities.

Wits's new hydrogen plant launched

The University of the Witwatersrand has opened a new hydrogen plant on its West Campus in Johannesburg.
The plant uses solar energy to turn water into hydrogen, which can power campus buildings, run hydrogen vehicles, and help local industries test new technology.
The R100 million project links research with real-world use and is expected to be fully running by 2028.
Deputy President Paul Mashatile says the pilot facility could be a game changer for the country’s industrial future.

Cape Town robotics team wins 6th straight national title

Ignite’s Autonova also earned the Innovate Award and qualified for the World Championship after building robots that can collect and launch colored balls, create patterns, and navigate the field on their own.
The team says this year’s “Decode” challenge was tough, making their win even more impressive.

Eliud Kipchoge to take on Cape Town Marathon in May

Kenyan marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge will start his worldwide marathon tour at the Cape Town Marathon on May 24.
He plans to run marathons on all seven continents to inspire people to stay healthy, bring communities together, and raise money for his foundation.
The Cape Town event is expected to draw over 27,000 runners and is aiming to become Africa’s first World Marathon Major.
