This comes as the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists is set to host a series of Regional Science Fairs in 35 regions across South Africa.
The event will provide a competitive platform for school learners to showcase their innovative ideas, scientific research, and problem-solving skills.
Over 17,500 learners participated in School- and District Expos, with selected participants now set to compete at the regional level.
The young scientists underwent workshops and expert guidance to enhance their scientific skills and research investigations.

Business coach Ndzutha Mngqibisa emphasized the importance of the program in developing future entrepreneurs highlighting that many small businesses operate on a hand-to-mouth model limiting their potential for growth.
