City of Johannesburg Launches 'War on Potholes' Campaign in Hyde Park

The city of Johannesburg and the Johannesburg Roads Agency launched the War on Potholes campaign in Hyde Park in Johannesburg yesterday.
The campaign is set to deliver on the City mayor’s commitment from the state of the city address to prioritise road infrastructure, enhance mobility and restore service delivery.
The campaign is set to tackle Ward 90’s potholes and more by the end of August.
Officials say the ultimate goal is to ensure that Ward 90 maintains a high standard of road infrastructure, contributing to safer commuting and improved quality of life for residents.
The initiative will be carried out in phases to ensure all problem areas are systematically addressed.
