Nal’ibali is celebrating Literacy Month and Heritage Month under the theme, “My Literacy, My Language, My Heritage.”
The literacy organisation will bring reading, storytelling, language and cultural activities to children, families and communities across seven provinces.
The initiative aims to promote literacy while celebrating South Africa’s diverse languages, cultures and heritage.
Nal’ibali is calling on organisations, communities and partners to support the campaign through collaboration, helping to amplify literacy initiatives across the country.

Athletes Pull Truck for Charity Challenge

A team of 20 strength athletes will pull a truck 1,650 kilometres from Pretoria to Cape Town in a 41-day charity challenge.
The Bigg Pull 2026, organised by Gentle Giant Promotions, will start at the South African Air Force Base in Centurion on 2 November and finish in Cape Town on 12 December.
The challenge aims to raise funds for charities along the route.

The campaign aims to reach 28 facilities that have not previously received Santa Shoebox gifts.
People can pledge a complete shoebox with clothing, toiletries, educational supplies, sweets and a toy, or make a monetary donation.
The project is now open for pledges, with drop-off details available online.
