Sandton based non profit organisation Elevate Her Africa has launched a campaign to collect 36 000 sanitary packs for 2 000 women and girls across local communities for a year.
The organisation is calling on businesses, schools, churches and individuals to support the campaign through donations and collection drives.
The goal is to ensure women and girls have access to menstrual products without having to rely on alternatives such as toilet paper.
