The Threads of Impact high-fashion showcase at Steyn City is helping to create new opportunities for young people in Diepsloot.
The event brought families and supporters together for an afternoon of fashion, food and music, while raising funds for education and youth development.
Proceeds will help establish a new digital library at the Diepsloot Community Centre and support youth programmes.
The project is undertaken in partnership with the Summits with a Purpose non-profit organisation, which focuses on expanding digital access in underserved communities.

Learners will access curriculum-aligned literacy and numeracy applications through tablets, supported by free Wi-Fi provided by Boomer.
Summits with a Purpose founder Sarah Khumalo says access to education helps children see beyond local borders and realise their potential.
