Johannesburg will host the Global Citizen NOW summit on 21 November at the Sandton Convention Centre, a day before the G20 Summit which is scheduled for 22–23 November.
The event will gather world leaders, investors and philanthropists.
Global Citizen said the campaign seeks commitments for clean energy access for 10 million households, with 4.6 million already pledged.
Discussions will focus on health security, climate resilience and G20 priorities of solidarity, equality and sustainability, aiming to end extreme poverty and protect the planet.

The African Women and Youth League’s Pimville branch spent the day uplifting residents at the Soweto Home for the Aged in Mofolo Central.
The group donated food and spent time with the elderly, spreading love and compassion through their visit.
Chairperson Cynthia Gambu says the organisation regularly supports care homes, schools, and local communities, all funded from their own pockets.
She added that the league plans more outreach initiatives before the end of the year.

The Recording Academy announced Friday that Lady Gaga ranked second among performers with seven nods for her "Mayhem" album, followed by a trio of artists tied at six -- Bad Bunny, pop princess Sabrina Carpenter and R&B singer-songwriter Leon Thomas.
Lamar will compete for album, record and song of the year honors.
