The Shuffling Walking Team is inviting the community to take part in a 5km family fun walk for cancer awareness on July 26 at the Bedfordview Country Club.This event celebrates 15 years of the organisation’s work in supporting people affected by cancer. The Shuffling Walking Team is a non-profit organisation that raises funds for cancer charities and also helps people in the community who are living with cancer. Over the years, funds raised from the walk have supported organisations such as the Breast Health Foundation, Stepping Stone Hospice Alberton, Hospice East Rand, Childhood Cancer Foundation and the Shuffling Walking Team Community Cancer Fund.
