The gathering brought together 180 young delegates, industry giants like BMW and Nissan, and government leaders to explore careers and growth in the automotive sector.
Presentations highlighted bursaries, learnerships, and key skills like robotics and vehicle assembly, with a strong focus on innovation and inclusion.
AIDC CEO Andile Africa stressed the importance of preparing youth for future automotive careers, while learner Trish Masango shared her inspiring takeaway: “Never let anyone discourage your dreams.”
The event reinforced youth empowerment as central to building a smarter, more sustainable automotive industry.
