Cape Town Airport named Africa's best for 11th consecutive year

Cape Town International Airport has been named Africa's Best Airport for the 11th consecutive year at the 2026 Skytrax World Airport Awards.
The awards are based on feedback from millions of travellers, who rated airports on services including check in, cleanliness, security and the overall passenger experience. Cape Town also received the award for Best Airport Staff Service in Africa.
South Africa had further success, with OR Tambo International Airport and King Shaka International Airport also ranking among Africa's top five airports, while Cape Town and OR Tambo both featured in the world's top 100.
