Healthcare professionals, psychologists and advocates came together in Sandton to encourage open conversations about infertility, pregnancy loss and mental health.
The Breaking the Taboo summit, hosted by the Thari ya Pula Foundation in partnership with the South African College of Applied Psychology, explored ways to reduce stigma and improve emotional support for people affected by reproductive loss.
Organisers hope the summit will become an annual event that raises awareness, connects people with support services and ensures fewer individuals face these experiences alone.
