Young designers are getting a chance to explore fashion and creativity through the CEO Fashions Kids Sip and Design Experience held in Nigel.
Children aged 3 to 16 took part in a hands-on workshop where they customised T-shirts and denim clothing using paint and design materials.
Founder Mabotle Mphuti says the initiative aims to help children express themselves through art and fashion, with more creative workshops planned.

Foundation Expands Youth Sports Programmes

The Truth and Hope Foundation is expanding its football and tennis programmes in Gauteng, with more than 80 young players now taking part in its clubs.
Its football team, Dubula Stars United FC, is competing in the Super Cup after its U13 and U17 teams won their local leagues, while Tsa Kasi Tennis Club is competing in provincial tournaments.
The foundation says it is using sport to develop young athletes and create opportunities beyond local competitions.
It has also received equipment support from Play It Forward and is calling on more sponsors to support its youth sports programmes.

Chery Auto Executive Vice President, Charlie Zhang, says the company’s new vehicle assembly plant in Rosslyn, Tshwane, will move Chery from importing vehicles to local production in South Africa.
The Chinese automaker has launched its manufacturing project, with production expected to start in 2027.
The plant is expected to create jobs, train workers and provide opportunities for local suppliers, including youth-owned businesses.
